Youth Small Ensembles
Jazz Up Your Soul
The Jazz Academy of Richmond offers focused, small-group ensemble training for dedicated youth musicians. These ensembles provide an intimate setting for students to master the nuances of collective improvisation.
Requirements

Ages: 14–18 (Grades 9–12)

Experience: Must be enrolled in a Band or Strings program

Instruments: All orchestral string, woodwind, brass, and percussion families

Rehearsals: Weekly in Richmond, VA

Auditions start June 9, 2026
Processing Fee
A $25 non-refundable processing fee is required before your form is reviewed.
